FAQ

How far in advance do I need to order a container?

We can get the dumpster to you the next business day, or even the same day if scheduling allows. We will do our best to accommodate your desired delivery date when possible.

How long can I keep my roll-off dumpster?

Our rental period is 7 days. After that, we charge $10 per day.

How can I pay for my container?

Country Disposal Services take most major credit cards. You can leave a card on file for us to bill, or make a payment using our online system above. You may also send a payment by check.

Do you add a “fuel surcharge”?

Fuel surcharges are common in the transportation industry. Our surcharges vary by county. By adding the surcharge, it helps our company to recover the cost of diesel, natural gas, and any other hydrocarbon-based fuels that we use to operate our company and perform our services, above a baseline cost.

Where can I put the dumpster?

Put your dumpster in a clear, accessible place with no obstructions. We recommend a surface that is hard and level. Please be conscious of your septic system.

How much space will my dumpster take up?

Dumpster dimensions vary depending on container size. In order to safely deliver yours, we need about 60 feet in a straight line and 10.5 feet in width to place a roll-off.

What kind of items are allowed in the dumpster?

Acceptable items are: yard waste (leaves, brush, dirt), electronics, household junk, wooden furniture, empty aerosol cans, alkaline batteries, construction debris (drywall, brick, plywood, concrete, tile), household appliances.

What items are considered hazardous and CAN’T go in the dumpster?

Hazardous items include: no free liquids (paint, lacquers, adhesives, fuels, oils, inks, resins), non-alkaline batteries, medical infectious waste, propane tanks. **Check all waste items for hazard symbols. If you find any, don’t add them to your dumpster. Instead, see the product’s packaging for how to dispose of the hazardous material.

Do you charge extra for certain items?

Yes, there are additional charges for certain items:

  • Mattresses- $50
  • Box Spring- $50
  • Tires (car)- $35
  • Tires (truck or equipment)- $35
  • CFC  (ACs/Refrigerators) Removal- $35
  • Batteries- $15

Will my dumpster be picked up automatically?

No, you will have to call and schedule that. You can request it be removed from the property, or you can request a dump-and-return service if your dumpster fills up before your project is complete.

Will the dumpster have a weight limit?

All of our dumpsters come with a weight limit and we will make it clear when you rent yours. Keep in mind, if you exceed the weight limit, it will result in  a per-ton overage fee.

If I didn’t fill the dumpster, then how did I go over the weight?

It does  not matter how much you fill your dumpster. The weight of the materials inside is what affects the cost, not the volume. You could fill it to the top and not go over in weight. On the other hand, you could fill it 1/3 of the way and be overweight.

What do you mean by a per-ton overage fee?

Each of our dumpsters comes with a set weight includes a certain amount of weight.

How many pounds are in a ton?

There are 2,000 pounds in 1 ton. Your dumpsters weight is measured in tons, so stay mindful of that when choosing your container.

Is a permit or license required?

You might need a permit depending on your town and where you plan to keep the container. You may need a permit for street placement or private property. Reach out to your town for permitting details.

What is the difference between a roll-off and front load dumpster?

A roll-off dumpster has an open top with a swinging side door and is used temporarily for jobsites, construction sites, etc. It has wheels to easily “roll off” the trailer and into place. A front load dumpster collects daily business trash, stays on the commercial property and has a custom pick up frequency.
